Graduates of the biotechnology programs at Springfield Technical Community College are well-prepared for careers in the life sciences, according to a leading science education organization. The organization, Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation (MassBioEd), endorsed the biotechnology associate degree and certificate programs at the “Gold Level.”

Springfield Technical Community College is pleased to announce the lineup of speakers and performers for the spring semester. All events, except for the Soul Food & Jazz Luncheon, are free and open to the public. The events are brought to the college by 2018 Ovations Educational and Cultural Event Series, and the 2018 Diversity Speaker and Performance Series, coordinated by the Office of Student & Multicultural Affairs.

Training & Workforce Options program gives a boost to area women

Graduates received their certificate from TWO, which facilitated a workplace readiness training program called “Foot in the Door,” provided by Dress for Success Western Massachusetts. Foot in the Door gave participants an opportunity to develop skills needed to succeed in the workforce.
