STCC wrestling teams cap off a successful season at Nationals

The men and women’s wrestling teams at Springfield Technical Community College wrapped up a successful season at the 2019 NCWA National Wrestling Championships in Allen, Texas. The men’s team came in fifth place out of 77 colleges with five wrestlers being named All-American. The women’s team captured third place in the nationals, with two All-Americans. The teams competed March 14-16.

STCC offers Massachusetts Oil Burner Code Update Course

The Springfield Technical Community College Workforce Development Center will offer the Massachusetts Oil Burner Code Update Class on April 23 and 24. The class will provide an overview of the recently revised Massachusetts Oil Code. Emphasis will be placed on National Fire Protection Association codes NFPA 31 and NFPA 211 with the new Massachusetts exemptions and additions.

Two blackjack dealer classes start in April

The Massachusetts Casino Career Training Institute (MCCTI) will offer blackjack dealer classes at two different times starting in April. Classes meet Monday through Thursday. Students can choose April 1 - May 20 or April 15 - June 4.
