Academic Counselor
TRIO SSS students are assigned a TRIO SSS academic counselor who they regularly meet to receive assistance in the following areas: academics, career exploration, transferring, course selection, registration, FAFSA applications, scholarship applications, financial literacy, personal skills development, and more!
TRIO Counselors use holistic approaches to help you develop as a student and prepare for you to go from college to career. Your assigned TRIO counselor will work with you to build a trusting rapport, help identify your strengths, and develop your skills in need of improvement. Your TRIO counselor will continue to work with you until you complete your degree requirements. The program helps connect you to services to enhance your academic success and help you plan for the future.
