Nurses provide and coordinate patient care, educate about health conditions, and provide support to patients and their families. You will be taught to communicate effectively, provide health promotion and maintenance, and administer care to persons with health problems.

Enrollment Deadlines
This is an Open Enrollment program, which means you can enroll for classes at the start of any semester. We advise you to apply for admission to STCC at least one semester before you enroll so we can help get you the most financial aid available.
Transfer Options
Students who complete an associate degree in Nursing are eligible to transfer to a Bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year institution.
STCC offers specific transfer agreements with Salve Regina University, Southern New Hampshire University, and Westfield State University, in addition to opportunities at many UMass and Massachusetts state university campuses through the MassTransfer program.
Students interested in transferring should begin planning during their first semester at STCC. Contact the STCC Advising and Transfer Center.
