Lactation/Self-Care Rooms
Springfield Technical Community College is committed to supporting student healthcare needs. Self-Care Rooms are available to students and employees.
Purpose
Self-care rooms are to support:
- Lactating students or employees.
- Students or employees administering medically authorized prescriptions that do not violate the College’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
- YWCA consultations with students or employees on domestic violence or sexual misconduct matters.
Policies
- Rooms are available by appointment.
- Appointments are for 30-minute intervals.
- YWCA consultations are 60-minute appointments.
- Users must follow the Student Code of Conduct and applicable College policies.

- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
