The mission of Career Services is to provide information and resources to students, and alumni; to help guide them through the process of career and life goal setting and implementation; to assist in aligning their skills, values, and interests to the career that is suitable to them; and to provide job search strategies, techniques, and information as well as to utilize best practices by encouraging and promoting career awareness.

Career Services works closely with local and regional employers in presenting qualified students and alumni employment and internship opportunities.

Students

If you are a current STCC student, this is where you'll find information on career planning, full or part-time employment opportunities, as well as internships for that all-important work experience. In addition, we will assist you with resume and cover letter writing, interviewing techniques including mock interviews, and the entire job search process.

Whether you are a recent graduate or have been "out there" for a while looking for a new beginning or a change in direction, Career Services will be glad to assist you.

Faculty

When students come to you for advice and guidance, we encourage you to collaborate with Career Services on their behalf. We will connect your students with full and part-time employment opportunities as well as internship opportunities.

Employers

Find the talent you seek at all levels of experience. Post your job and internship openings, or request scheduling interviews, recruiting events, and job fairs. STCC wants to be your pipeline for current and future employees.

Employer Job Board

Thank you for your interest in posting an employment or internship opportunity with STCC Career Services. To post an opportunity, please log in to the STCC Career Coach website. New employers need to sign up by selecting "Sign Up" and “Employer Sign Up” in the top right corner. Once the sign-up is completed, click “Request Approval”.

Career and College Transfer Fair

STCC is hosts a career and college transfer fairs for students, alumni, and friends who are searching for their next career move. For employer registration and more details about the fair, please see the Career and College Transfer Fair page.

Career Readiness Course

Prepare for the workplace after STCC. In this one-credit course, students will create a resumé and cover letter, develop networking skills including social media tools, use career search software, and learn interview skills.
