Transfer to a Four-year College or University
STCC offers transfer pathways and articulation agreements with state universities and private colleges throughout New England. The MassTransfer program allows students in each of these programs to enter a state university such as Westfield State University, Worcester State University, or UMass at junior-level status with substantial cost savings. Be sure to check out all of the supports we offer on our Transfer Services page!
- The Biology Transfer degree gives students a solid foundation in the basics of science with an emphasis on biology. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in biology at a college or university.
- The Chemistry Transfer degree gives students a solid foundation in the basics of science with an emphasis on chemistry. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in chemistry at a college or university.
- The Engineering Transfer degree will provide students with a solid foundation in engineering concepts while also allowing them to develop the strong mathematical and science skills required for further study in the field. Students will have available to them an array of courses that will allow them to develop strengths in their chosen area of concentration. These include courses in mechanical, electrical, civil, and chemical engineering. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in engineering at a college or university.
- The Mathematics Transfer degree gives students a solid foundation in the basics of math while providing the opportunity to apply these concepts in the sciences. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in math at a college or university.
- The Physics Transfer degree gives students a solid foundation in the basics of science with an emphasis on physics. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in physics at a college or university.
