STCC welcomes artists to show their work on Portfolio Day, Jan. 30
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College on Jan. 30 will host its second Portfolio Day, an opportunity for students from area schools – as well as the general public – to show their creative work to art professors for feedback and suggestions.
A collaboration between STCC, Westfield State University and Springfield Public Schools, the event will be held 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on the seventh floor of Scibelli Hall (Building 2). Professors from STCC and Westfield will be on hand to look through students’ portfolios.
While the event is geared toward high school students, everyone is welcome to attend and get a critique of their artwork. Attendees are welcome to bring physical artwork, copies, or work in a digital format. Information about STCC and Westfield art department admissions will be available.
