STCC to host Portfolio Day for budding artists in Western Mass. on April 4
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College will host its first-ever Portfolio Day, an opportunity for students from area schools – as well as the general public – to show their creative work to art professors for feedback and suggestions.
A collaboration between STCC, Westfield State University and Springfield Public Schools, the April 4 event will be held from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on the seventh floor of Scibelli Hall (Building 2). Professors from STCC and Westfield will be on hand to look through students’ portfolios.
While the event is geared toward high school students, everyone is welcome to attend and get a critique of their portfolios. A representative from STCC’s Admissions Department will be available to answer questions and provide information about pursuing a degree or certificate in any of the variety of creative departments at STCC.
