STCC to host Open House on Oct. 25
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Thinking about enrolling in college? Come to Springfield Technical Community College’s Fall Open House on Oct. 25 to get information about your next steps.
STCC will host the event 4 p.m.-7 p.m. in Scibelli Hall (Building 2), 7th Floor. All high school students and adult learners interested in learning more about the value of an STCC education are invited to attend.
Representatives from Admissions, Academics, Athletics, Financial Aid, HiSET (high school equivalence testing) and English Language Learner classes, Non-Credit Training and Certifications, and Online Learning will be available to speak with attendees.
"In addition, anyone who brings their official high school transcript(s) or GED or HiSET will be instantly accepted for either the spring 2017 or fall 2017 semester,” said Dean of Admissions Louisa Davis-Freeman. "Our Fall Open House is held in the evening to accommodate busy parents and working adults. I encourage all prospective students—whether you’re in high school or a returning adult—to come learn more about how STCC works.”
Davis-Freeman said staff also will be available to discuss the new Commonwealth Commitment Program Associate to Bachelor's pathway, which allows students to graduate quickly and save on college costs."
