STCC to host Health Careers Exploration Night on Monday
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Interested in becoming a health care professional? Considering changing careers? Wondering if the health care field is a good fit for you?
If you’ve been thinking about health care careers, don’t hesitate to visit Health Careers Exploration Night to learn more. Springfield Technical Community College will host the event on Monday, March 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Health Careers Exploration Night, which is free and open to the public, will begin in the first-floor lobby of Building 20, located on the Pearl Street side of the campus.
Attendees on Monday will get an opportunity to tour STCC’s SIMS Medical Center, a nationally recognized patient simulation facility. It’s a chance to meet faculty and current students and tour departments.
The event will feature demonstrations and hands-on activities designed to introduce visitors to various careers.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to explore health careers and meet faculty, staff and current students. Attendees will be able to ask questions and experience hands-on opportunities that will allow them immersive experiences in each of the healthcare professions offered at STCC,” said Christopher Scott, interim dean of the School of Health and Patient Simulation.
