STCC to host fall Majors and Career Fair on Sept. 26
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College will host a Majors and Career Fair for students, local vocational high schools and community agencies interested in exploring opportunities in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
A collaboration between the Career Development Center, the HSI-STEM Grant and the Perkins Grant, the career fair will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Scibelli Hall (Building 2) gymnasium.
Representatives from STCC STEM programs will be on hand as well as local employers. With a goal of raising awareness about STEM majors and careers, the fair will give attendees an opportunity to speak with employers about potential opportunities in their field.
