STCC to hold Open House on Oct. 17
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College will hold its annual fall Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m., in Scibelli Hall (Building 2), 7th Floor.
Open to the public, STCC's Open House is a perfect opportunity for high school students and adult learners to learn more about the college's programs and services. Representatives from Admissions, Academics, Athletics, Dual Enrollment/College Now, Financial Aid, HiSET & English Language Learner classes, Non-Credit Training & Certifications, Online Learning and Transfer Services will be available to speak with attendees. Campus tours will also be available.
"In addition, anyone who brings their official high school transcript(s) or GED or HiSET will be instantly accepted for either the spring 2019 semester or the fall 2019 semester,” said Dean of Admissions Louisa Davis-Freeman.
"I encourage all prospective students—whether you’re in high school or a returning adult—to come learn more about STCC. We're affordable and accessible and our career programs will prepare you to join the workforce upon graduation. We also have many transfer programs and our graduates continue their educations at colleges and universities throughout the United States."
Faculty and staff will also be available to discuss the college's new Biomedical Engineering Technology degree and the new Health Science degree.
