STCC to hold groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 18, for Learning Commons
WHAT:
Officials from Springfield Technical Community College (STCC), the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) and Consigli Construction Co., Inc., will break ground on construction of the STCC Student Learning Commons. With an anticipated completion date of fall 2018, the renovated “Building 19” will become the center of campus life and transform the student experience. The 100,000-square-foot Learning Commons will house essential student resources and services.

- STCC President Dr. John B. Cook
- Retired STCC President Dr. Ira H. Rubenzahl
- Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno
- Congressman Richard E. Neal
- Commissioner Carol Gladstone, Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM)
- Consigli Construction Co. President Matthew Consigli
