STCC to celebrate International Men’s Day with event honoring positive male role models
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College invites the community to celebrate International Men’s Day by honoring the contributions and achievements of having male role models on Tuesday, Nov. 19. This year’s celebration, themed “Positive Male Role Models,” will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Scibelli Hall (Building 2) on the 7th floor at STCC.
International Men’s Day at STCC will emphasize the importance of male role models, promote men's mental health and well-being and encourage inclusivity and gender equality. The event is open to STCC students, faculty, staff and the general public, providing an opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate the positive impact of male role models in our community.
The celebration will feature a showcase of local male entrepreneurs, offering insights into their journeys and achievements. A panel discussion with distinguished guest speakers will explore the roles of positive male figures in society, aiming to inspire attendees with their experiences and perspectives.
