STCC offers courses to prepare for the real estate sales & broker’s exams
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Are you looking to start a career in real estate sales, but need help preparing for the licensing exam?
Springfield Technical Community College is offering an instructional and preparation course on Saturdays this fall to help prepare for the real estate sales and broker’s exams.
Choose between two sessions, one starting in September and another in November:
- Session 1: Sept. 10, 17, 24, Oct. 1, 15 and 22.
- Session 2: Nov. 5, 12, 19, Dec. 3, 10, and 17.
With classes scheduled on Saturdays 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., the instruction and prep course will help participants gain the knowledge needed to successfully pass the licensing exam and start a career in real estate sales.
The course covers topics including Massachusetts License Law; property rights and ownership; condominiums; cooperatives; time shares; land use – subdivision; contracts and deeds; financing and mortgages; brokerage; appraisal; fair housing laws and consumer protection issues.
Participants must attend all classes so that they can meet 40 hours of training required by the state of Massachusetts. STCC is a Licensed Real Estate School by the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
