STCC announces partnership for non-credit online training programs with an international focus
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) will offer five new non-credit online education classes in partnership with EdNet Academic Partnerships.
The courses, which have an international focus, are taught by an instructor teaching the same class at the University of South Carolina, UCLA Anderson or Beijing Language and Culture University.
Topics are:
- International Business Principles
- International Human Resources
- Contemporary China and Chinese Culture
- Global Entrepreneurship
- Global Leadership
EdNet Academic Partnerships is an advanced e-commerce platform for higher education, which makes it possible for top universities to serve an unlimited number of global students.
“These classes are for people who are trying to learn new skills to improve their resume and career prospects,” said Paul Sheehan, director of Workforce Development at STCC. “They are assembled and presented by top faculty from some of the world’s elite universities. Each course is designed to expand the knowledge, skills and marketability of students by enhancing their understanding of market-relevant subjects.”
The certificate has the name of the university that developed the course on the certificate, Sheehan said.
