‘She Works in STEM’ networking event scheduled March 27
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Current and future leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) are invited to attend a free networking event at the UMass Center at Springfield in Tower Square.
Registration is now open for the “She Works in STEM” event on March 27, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. The Pioneer Valley Women in STEM Network wants to bring together female professionals, community college women in STEM majors and high school-aged girls considering STEM careers.

Speakers include Kristin Carlson, co-owner and president of Peerless Precision Manufacturing in Westfield, and Prasha Sarwate Dutra, who hosts a website and podcast called “Her STEM Story” to inspire women to pursue careers in STEM.
