We provide a diverse educational experience that promotes personal and professional growth.Darcey Kemp, Vice President of Student Affairs
“We provide a diverse educational experience that promotes personal and professional growth,” said Vice President of Student Affairs Darcey Kemp. “It’s never too late to go to college. STCC offers you a community of dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to student success. Whether you’re working towards a degree or certificate or intend to transfer, you’ll get the support you need to achieve your goals. We work with employers in the region who hire our graduates for good-paying jobs in rewarding careers. For students interested in transferring, we have agreements with many four-year colleges and universities that help make a smooth transition into a bachelor degree program.”
Kemp said many students qualify for financial aid to make going to STCC even more affordable. To be considered eligible for financial aid, students must be enrolled in a degree-granting or eligible certificate program. The college will offer a mix of online and in-person classes.
Federally designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution, STCC was named best local college for three consecutive years (2020-22) by MassLive’s Reader Raves poll. STCC also was ranked as the fourth best community college in the nation by Academic Influence, a college ranking system. Several programs have been singled out for excellence by ratings organizations.
STCC offers 89 degree and certificate programs in manufacturing, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), healthcare, business, social services and the liberal arts. Visit stcc.edu to explore programs and classes.
