Instant Accept Days Begin at STCC Jan. 2
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Planning on applying to Springfield Technical Community College for the spring semester? Beginning Jan. 2, the college will instantly accept prospective students who bring their official high school transcripts, GED or HiSET certification to the Admissions Office in the Student Learning Commons, Building 19, first floor. No appointment is necessary.
Dean of Admissions Louisa Davis-Freeman said, "We welcome many students in our spring semester who took a break during the fall semester or are switching to a college closer to home. We continue to see students looking to STCC as the smart and economical choice at this time of the year. Our Instant Accept initiative makes the first step in the college registration process easy so prospective students leave the office knowing they'll be attending college on Jan. 22."
The Admissions Office, now located in the new Ira H. Rubenzahl Student Learning Commons/Building 19/first floor, will have expanded hours beginning Jan. 2: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.- 7 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information call 413-755-3333 or visit www.stcc.edu.
