Articulation Agreements with High Schools
Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) is committed to student success! One way we work toward this is awarding college credit to students completing career vocational technical education (CVTE) programs at various vocational technical high schools. Courses can be articulated through the statewide agreements or through local agreements. For specific programs and STCC courses articulated, contact Pamela Westmoreland, STCC Linkages Specialist, at 413-755-4655.
Statewide agreements: All vocational-technical students throughout the Commonwealth can claim credit through state-wide articulation agreements. The following STCC programs can qualify for credit under statewide agreements:
- Arts & Communication
- Business Technology
- Carpentry
- Drafting
- Early Childhood Education
- Health Assisting
- HVAC
- Machine Tool Technology
Local agreements: STCC faculty have worked with area CVTE high school and Westover Job Corps faculty in order to craft local articulation agreements in a variety of fields.
